I started working with Wetplate Collodion ( tintypes and Ambrotypes) in 2012. I loved the look of the optics through antique cameras and lenses and the “mistakes” that were always a surprise, like a gift from the spirit world. This process has been around since 1851 yet it still feels very fresh to me.
