Round Top kids portraits

Hanging out at the Festival Hill Institute with the kiddos. This place is like Narnia, its a trip and so gorgeous. If you have a couple hours to spare, I totally reccommend driving out here. It's about 2 hours from Houston, or less if you go real fast.

Some strange building

Looks like they stole a dome from Moscow.

Some castle

This actually reminds me of some castle ruins we went to in the Uk a bazillion years ago. Maybe one day when the exchange rates are down AND our incomes are up, we might be ablke to afford to go visit again. At least we don't have to pay for a hotel....

Maddie at 10, almost 11

Can you believe this, I did not even get all of it, so many places.....

Twilight

For some reason this reminds me of twilight, all hose green trees. If I would have used "Deep Forest" as a filter I am sure it would even more so... Blogged here lauraburlton.squarespace.com/journal/2009/1/4/big-things-...

I see you

same as the last but brighter

hide n seek

This was some little forested area, there were so many trails I did not explore. Next time..... It was getting dark.

sassy chick

Took these of the kids in Round top at the Festival Hill Institute. This place was just so surreal. I actually went twice in three days. Once on the way home from Austin and then again 2 days later coming home from a friends' ranch in LaGrange ( couldn't help it, I was only 7 miles away!)
