Laura Burlton is a professional photographer and native Houstonian. Her love of photography started early on when her parents gave her her first camera at around the age of 8. Laura's current arsenal of cameras consists of lo-fi, pinhole and toy cameras and high-end digital equipment. She is also a full time professional photographer that specializes in wedding and portrait photography. She has two daughters and a British husband who are often subjects of her photographic musings. Laura's photography has been showcased in galleries and museums as close as Houston and as far away as Canada, Austria and Spain. She has also had her photography published in several books and magazines including BW photography UK, Kamera & Bild (Sweden), Camera Arts (online only), Lightleaks Magazine, The Knot, Modern Luxury, Weddings in Houston, Plastic Cameras: Toying with Creativity (Focal Press), as well as several books published by the Lomographic Society of Austria. Her work is part of many private collections worldwide.
Laura accepts commisions worldwide and so far has shot weddings and portraits in Houston, Austin, Galveston, Round Top, Blanco, Schulenberg, Dallas, Las Vegas, New Orleans, London, and the Dominican Republic.
